Ive been wanting to change the pedals on my corsa from the factory standard rubber ones to a set of metal replacement ones.

went to halfords and saw some nice ones but though i would look on the web to see if i could get them cheaper found this site with the same pedals but it says they are for off road and show use only. Halfords never said this anywhere so whats going on???

are these replacement pedals legal or illegal i would have thought a compnay as big as halfords wouldnt get it wrong but then im not sure can anyone help????

here the link to the pedals

They have to have rubber grips and be set at 3-5cm apart or something.

Majority are legal, although some say for off road use only, (like mine) iv had no trouble with them and to be honest i cant see what the problem is, they work just like normal pedals.

I think its a case of they say for off-road and show use just in case you have an accident and that is found to be the cause then they are free from blame :)
