Hi, I have Corsa D that I have fitted an after market radio to. All of a sudden the radio has stopped working.

I have tested the radio headset and there is no issues with that. The constant power supply is working, but there is no power coming from the ignition feed.

I have checked the fuse for the radio in the glove box, but this seems to be only for the constant power supply, does anyone know if there is another fuse for the ignition feed and where to find it?

hi mate... i had this on my corsa c (may or may not be the same cause as yours) but look in your operators manual because there will more than likely be more fuses that will affect the radio (consol,windown,mirrors etc can sometimes be linked in) try looking at all the fuses related in the bonnet fuse box and cabin one if there is one fitted.

I’ve had this issue on an off for a few years since having an aftermarket stereo professionally fitted. Several trips to the garage, auto electric specialist and halfords later the fault quickly reappeared.

Solution - disconnect the negative terminal on the battery, wait a few minutes and reconnect. Everything is back on! saw this on another site and thought I’d share as it worked for me.

I had the same issue after installing an aftermarket headunit a week ago. Two days later it decided to not power up. After checking fuses and cables I hooked up the original unit to verify that it powers up, which it did... Then reconnected the aftermarket one and it worked again... That was two days ago so I'm still waiting to see if it happens again... No clue why.....

Thats what i do! It was doing my head in as the head unit would cut out at the worst possible times. Will have to try to battery trick today tho
