hi guys haven't been on here in ages!

mainly got a civic and had no problems :/

but i cannot believe i did this,

got a corsa c, needed a new battery but i put it in the wrong way alm: so smoke from alternator the lot, i then put it the correct way and smoke from alternator O_O i haven't checked the battery voltage to see if it is f****d but other then that should i just stick a new alternator in it or drop test first? :/

Sounds like you may have burnt out some of the windings on the alternator, I'd get that and the regulator/rectifier checked out.

Sounds like you'll need a new something!
