Just noticed, some people are still looking at the Hostgator hosting, DNS is not fully propogated yet. SHould have dropped the TTL on the domain a bit but too late to worry now. They'll update soon enough :laugh:

I did mean the connection that I ran that from though, not your connection lol.

You can always use it for usenet, or hosting a server of your own

It is a server of my own, I have no use for it though as I don't run websites or anything else. I use it to testing stuff sometimes but other than that it sits powered on with people trying to brute force it alm:

Gotta say, the forums have propagated quickly, didnt see any downtime over the weekend. Who hasnt yet propagated?

Maybe we can set up a Canonical Name for www2.allcorsa.co.uk and then Lee can change the Index page of the HostGator to Meta redirect to www2

That way, because no ISP should have index it, it will do a fresh lookup and point them here.

Should only take 3 mintues to do it and solves everyones problems, then when the ISP does propagate, it just forgets HostGator so no work needs to be done afterwards

I changed the SSH port so now it's stopped anyway :thumbs_up:

The TTL on the domain should mean everyone is moved over at some point today. There wasn't any downtime as the old and new site were running at the same time.
Ideally the correct thing (and if I had thought about it earlier I would have recommended it) would have been to change the domain TTL to around 10 minutes a few days ago. Then overnight when the change happened we could have updated all DNS servers quickly.
Too late now, I think we should just wait on full propagation (some point today), it's only a few members still on the old one (Tim/taurus are the only ones I really noticed :laugh.
