I thought the whole point of uprating both shocks and springs it that because the standard shocks have a greater deal of travel in them, that with shorted springs there is a greater chance of the car bouncing too much and scraping, banging etc...
well it aint really advised to change just springs as the shocks aint designed for them. just get a full kit. ive got a 40mm spax kit at the moment, its a bit stiff but handles great. will be sellin them in a few months as 2.0ltrs planned and avin coilovers so can set damper level.
