On my black angel eyes the wiring doesnt seem the same, should it just be a straight swap, or have i gotta cut some of my wires and join them to the angel eye with connectors anyone know?

Yep it need cutting. I fitted Lee_H's in. I had to cut into the sidelight loom, then solder it all together.

OH NO!!! Anyone got a tutorial i thought it was gonna be a straight swap and as they arent brand new got no instructions etc...... how much is a soldering iron?

You can get a full soldering kit from nettos for £6.99. Failing that Maplin/B&Q etc will do a cheap one for a few pound.
It should have a black wire and a red wire on it. The black needs to go to the negative wire on the sidelight loom, and the red needs to go to the positive.
