So this is basically the start of me turning the Corsa into a project

The lexus lights were put in when i got it and today i de-badged the boot, pictures below

I bought some cheap alloys for £60 for the moment, theyre quite scratched but what else would you expect for such a low price :laugh:

Still got tiniest bits of the sticky stuff left on, gunna do that tomorow hoepfully ad put the alloys on friday

I'd take the lexus lights straight back off again and get something nicer, or just tint your standard rear ones.

Also do you have any more pictures of the car? We can't really see much of it in those pics lol.

Did think about tinting the standard ones...
How should I do it?

Here's how I did mine...

Just finished tinting my lights

They're not quite as dark as the first pictures make them out to be.

I rubbed them down with some 1200 wet and dry, then cleaned them.
Masking taped the reflectors.
Applied several thin coats of tinting spray, leaving 20-30mins between each coat.
Rubbed them down with 1200 wet and dry and cleaned them again.
Gave them one last thin coat.
Gave them one coat of lacquer :thumbs_up:

im doing mine soon aswell, just mask over reflecter and give 4/5 light coats depending on how dark you want them providing there still legal. :thumbs_up:

Im gunna have to try that, had to pretty much re-wire the lexus ones for the lights to act right :/
Should be able to sell them easily enough though

Yes...but still no.

But honestly if you like them then get them.

I think even if people don't like your car they'd still prefer you to do what you wanted to do to it.

Bad picture, it was 5.30 this morning and i was leaving for work

Recieved my smoothed bootlock last week from tomosllyr

Sanded it down

Used Halfords Primer, gave it 6 coatings

After painting 4 coats

Boot before

Boot after

Also recieved my AllCorsa.co.uk sticker today

Dont know where to put it at the moment...

Did you flat and lacquer the boot lock? The paint looks a bit rough.
