Hi,
Got a 1.4 16v V reg, x14xe. The temp gauge display is not reading. Is this a single wire sensor? And does anyone know where it is located. Rest of dash ok.

my 1.4 8v had the same problem, people suggested the fuse but i removed them all and all were fine n then it started working after that lol try temperature sensor or the spade connector

Do u know where the sensor is on the engine .?

I believe that yours is located on the thermostat housing, although some are above and behind the coolant pump pulley.

Cheers for that, is there a seperate sensor for the engine and one for the gauge....or does one do both?
