Where's the best place to get new wheel trims. I know I know alloys:laugh: but trims until I can afford them.

I know Halfords, but didnt see any I liked. Just wondered if there was any other places worth trying.

What sort of trims can I get away with looking "good". The ones I have now are pretty gash looking.

Cars a white Trip if that helps.

I just cant believe the wheel trim market is monopolised by Halfords.

There mut be other places!

:D

Cheers though. Although Birmingham is a bit far for trims!
try your local "car spares" "motorworld" and the likes?

your welcome though mate, depends how desperate you are for trims lol

best of luck for it mate, keep us informed and pics etc if you find any you like
Will do. Trying to get the car looking "respectable" before I get pics.

Was my mums previously, and it was in poor nick visually. Tried my hand at removing the rust etc, which has done a bit to help the appearance, and going to try and get the wee black speckles from the lower parts (tar I'm guessing). Restoring the black bumpers.

But its difficult to do much now, as I'm at uni all day, then when I get home its too dark (and wet and windy!) to do anything serious!

Quick question that I dont want to start a new thread for and seem all needy  What can I use to remove overspray from my bumpers?

I masked them, but didnt account for the wind. Ill know better next time.

cant fault the plans mate  will look forward to seeing it

try giving it a good go over with t-cut, may take a bit of elbow-grease to do it but if its only light overspray, worth a shot

I needed a cheapo set until I get my ally's, so got these cheap and cheerful trims for £9.99 from a local Wilkinsons store. they're more expensive in Argos!
