Hi,

Plugging in my iPhone 5 into my macbook, its fine. Then occasionally ill get a pop up message saying its drawing too much power and has been deactivated. It will stop charging, then seconds later it will start charging again.

Nothing else is plugged into the USB drives.

Any help?

I had a problem with a USB cable, it shorted out inside, about 1/2 way along, it actually got quite hot, i threw it away and used a new cable and it was ok, that was with my canon Camera to USB on laptop...
