my original wheel offset is et39 in size 14" and i just got some 17" with et38, will i have any problem if i get it lowered anywhere between -30/-40mm?
ive been reading everywhere that corsas have their offset between 42 and 49 while just a few sites refer to them having the offset between 35 to 45.
appreciate any kind of help.

Your original wheel
Should have been 49offset. So either somebody has changed or you have.

17" is too big for a corsa to start with IMO, and no doubt will lead to issues

i havent changed the wheels, and as far as i know neither did the previous owner.
but some web pages states that the corsa offset its between 35 and 45, which mine is. and i also been told that 17" its pretty much a straight fit to corsa.
and the wheels i bought was from a corsa as well. not sure now but think it was from a corsa d, and mine is a c..

I don't have any pic of the current wheels, and how do I post pictures here?
I have only one pic of the new wheels.
I chose a wheel with basically the same offset, I really hope those are the original wheels because I'm not looking to run into problems with a bigger wheel specially because I want to get the car lowered.

Why don't you go outside and take a pic if they're on the car?

Why do you want such big wheels :/

yes,the original wheels are still on the car.but how do i post pictures into this forum.? dont know how to do it.
ive seen a few corsas around with 17''s and i personally like how they look.
plus, after i lower it i think it will look even nicer.
