hi there new to the site and after some help. i have a corsa c 2001 y reg its a 1.2 16v comfort. bought the car for my girl friend as she loves these cars but had a few problems after we brought it. find out it needed a new engine. i brought another engine its a 1.2 but its a from a sxi corsa. will this fit ?

The trim spec. doesn't matter - it's a question of what year / code the replacement engine is. What did the replacement come out of in terms of year?

Aslong as u ave ecu transponder and key chip even if its different will still fit, if your sxi engine ain't a twin port will be less hassle
