Went for a drive last night and gave it the beans through the gears, car felt like it was holding back so as I backed off it speed up at 1/4 throttle.

Stayed on 1/4 throttle and it was picking up nicely but as soon as I would go any further it wouldn't speed up or anything :/

Anyone had this before?

Had simalar simptons on my x16xe was caused by poor wireing to the tps and icv

Cheers will check it out soon, also getting a lumpy idle sometimes so that would link in with a vacuum problem

I think their an air temp sensor on these engines?

MAF sensor imo, i've had this on almost every corsa or engine lol.

See if you can borrow a mates or buy one cheap. (2 clips and a plug)

They use a MAP sensor,
Manifold absolute pressure

Cheers guys, my car does have quite a rough feel to it at idle but I always put that down to age (engines only on 64k). Seems to have days where it runs better than other days but I guess that could all be down to a vacuum problem?
