Right, I have yet another problem with my Corsa b 1.2 8v. Yesterday I noticed some oil on my drive, had a quick look under the car and couldn't see anything. Left it over night and now there's more gear box oil on my drive, so had a good look under my car and it seems to be coming from where the engine joins the gear box. anyone got any ideas?

mines doing that and its actualy comeing from the seam around the diff cover. Mines the 1.0 though so dont know how different your gearbox is to mine, But its an ever so slow drip from the very bottom of the engine right where the gearbox joins. Its just dribbling down from the diff cover :p hope that helps. Ive been told i can use gasket sealer on it to seal it but havent had the time or money for new fluid to do it

In which case it's more likely to be engine oil - which is much more often the case.

Check the two areas mentioned above - ie the camshaft cover gasket (they love leaking on the 8v engines) and if yours has a dizzy check the area where it mates with the head, there is a rubber O-ring in there that leaks.

If there is general muck etc which is usually the case then you might need to give it a clean to trace where the leak is. I usually use Gunk and then rinse with a low pressure hose.

Check also the dipstick tube, it's not unknown for them to fracture.
