Hi there, what i would do is get a 12 volt circuit tester, bulb type, run through all the fuses you can with the ign on, and wiper switch, there is a small black cover inside the fuse box with additional fuses in, check there either live both sides or dead both sides, not live one side and dead the other, do with ign and wiper switch on.

I think you will find there are at least 2 relays for the wipers, they seem to be in the box next to the battery, held down with 7 torq screws, the relays you want are near the inner wing at front, the big yellow relay at front it the flasher unit, its behind those...mark K and 2 numbers...i would also check for power at the wiper motor, all with nearly everything else most systems on the car go through the multi timer unit, that's the big module in that box, i have a haynes manual for a 2000 one litre...good luck...try the easy things first..Fred.

Doubt you’ll reply after all this time mate but I am suffering exact same fault and have no idea why, did you ever find out what relays controlled the wiper motor? Cheers
